Future leaders need to be given specific responsibility, the tools and resources that they need and the latitude to provide some leadership to accomplish the desired objectives. They may make some mistakes early on, but they can learn from these mistakes and can begin developing strong leadership skills. Those that are most successful in developing leaders invest time and effort in the process. This begins by identifying or recruiting potential leaders and then putting them in a position where they can begin developing those leadership skills.
